The Carriage House at Avio - a completely private guest cottage for 2. The theme is an upscale western motif. We've paid attention to every detail to ensure your stay with us will be a memorable one. Custom features abound. There’s an authentic cowhide headboard on the king size bed, a comfy chenille throw for the full-length overstuffed leather sofa, and, to add to the ambience, you’ll find genuine burlap wall coverings, highlighted by western artwork and collectibles. The full bath includes a combination shower/tub, pool towels, personal care items and hair dryer.

After a day of exploring Amador County, you’ll step into a quiet haven. Maybe you’d like to relax in front of the fireplace with your complimentary bottle of Avio Champagne. Or perhaps you prefer to unwind, as you listen to music, or indulge in a book from our in-room library.

If you prefer TV, select from satellite programming, or watch a DVD. You also have access to the pool and grounds. Steps away, there’s a private kitchenette, where you’ll find a refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and microwave.

There’s also a cozy veranda that provides a view of the vineyards and our grazing farm animals. For your convenience, we provide coffee, tea and snacks. While breakfast is not included, several local restaurants will deliver.
